Born and raised in Bowling Green Kentucky from a family of cooks, as a child I was always in the kitchen watching my mother and father preparing meals. My dad started letting me do different things in the kitchen, he was also a big meat smoker, for our family gatherings he was the go to person to prepare the meats for the event. Later in life watching my Uncle Charlie well known for his BBQ restaurant "Miracle Ribs & Things" really gave me the desire to want the knowledge to smoking meats, which really made me want to give my food that same amazing taste. Seeing the way his customers reacted to his food really aroused my passion to extend the same to my customers at
